Do Not Let Your Children Watch Peppa Pig – Psychologists Warn Parents

If your children love Peppa Pig, here is information that will make you feel low-spirited. Although this animated character has become a hit among children, scientists at the Harvard University discovered that it is one of the main causes of autism among children.
This animated movie has gone a long way; there are many toys, clothes and other things with this character. However, this character is not good for children. Scientists from the Harvard University say there are proofs that unpleasant, questioning, confrontational, disrespectful, and antisocial behavior in children is increased due to watching cartoons such as Peppa Pig. That is the reason why many parents are turning against this TV character, saying it has “a bad influence” on their children.
These are Peppa Pig’s unique characteristics:

  • Rude
  • Not respectful of other people’s ideas
  • Intolerant
  • Competitive and does not like losing
  • Suffers from ruperiority syndrome
  • Inappropriate
  • Arrogant
  • Proud
  • Jealous

The problem that many parents admit is that their kids copy Peppa and her brother’s behavior. So, if you are a parent and your children like watching this show, be very careful. Scientists say that nearly 80% of the brain develops in the first few months until the age of 3.
It is well known that programs demonstrating violence or aggression support that behavior in children.

  1. Oh Dear. One Daily Mail columnist writes an article, and suddenly the social media echo chamber is alive with criticism, most of it echoing, little of it contributing.
Some even blame Peppa Pig for autism. Now, that is total rubbish and on a par with the fake new epidemic that consigns children to catching measles because of the pseudo-science anti-vax movement. if you really take time out to critically assess Peppa Pig and relate this to a three year old’s vision of the world, you find a character that is beautifully crafted in bold colors, surrounded by a loving and protective family, and sure, encourages exploration, discovery, and learning. In such a gentle and at time fascinating and funny way. Kids love it. For a reason.
