The perfect female body exists, according to scientists.
What people consider to be the ideal woman has changed drastically over the years. The perfect body type was much different during the Italian renaissance that it is today. What hasn’t improved is the fact that women are always striving for the perfect body, no matter the consequence.
Also, it is completely different from what the fashion industry makes you think. Scientists at the University of Texas say the perfect female body measures 1.68 meters in height, while the bust/weight/hip measurements are 99-63-91.
This perfect female body would look like that of Kelly Brook. She is a 34 year old model and actress from England.
Men like facial and body characteristics like this model’s and relate them with good health and youth.
But, why are the skinny models considered ideal?
This happens because the fashion industry is trying to sell clothes. Fashion models are hired on their ability to emphasize the lines and structure of the clothing they wear.
Maybe skinny models rule the runway, but it has been scientifically shown that most men are attracted to larger women. Moreover, being skinny is also associated with diseases and conditions, although being too large can be problematic too.
In the past 10 years, we have seen curvier ladies on magazine covers and TV screens. However, body issues are still very real and present in today’s society. Nowadays, there are many positive body image campaigns that are helping teach young girls how to love themselves, no matter what their shape.
Striking a balance is the best option for good health.
